The Connecticut Master Chorale presented a Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 16 to dedicate the new church at St. Edward the Confessor Church, Route 39 in New Fairfield.

The program featured rousing Holiday Selections such as music from Empire of the Sun by John Williams, A Rhapsody of Christmas by Ed Lojeski, A Choral Fantasy, which is a unique and enlivening fantasy on God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen, an exceptionally lovely original carol What Sweeter Music by John Rutter; a lush arrangement of How Can I Keep From Singing for men’s voices, the Trinidad carol The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy; an exciting a cappella spiritual Who’s That Baby; a touching and poignant number Mary Did You Know?, and a sensational new arrangement of Go Tell It on the Mountain, plus African and Hanukkah selections and much more.
